It’s been a long time since I made my last post in here. I’ve been quite busy and many things have happened the last few years. In the summer of 2018, I graduated with my Bachelor in Media Production and Management from the Danish School of Media in Copenhagen. Definitely an accomplishment that I’m proud of. In August, I moved to Long Beach, California to pursue my Master of Business Administration at California State University, Long Beach. Taking my master’s degree in the United States has always been a big dream of mine and I feel grateful to be here now. The MBA program is a two year program and I’m currently in my second semester. It has an emphasis on innovation and entrepreneurship and it is very motivating and engaging, but also very challenging.
It’s been hard to be far away from my roots, my native language, my culture, but I wouldn’t trade any second of it. I keep working hard on advancing my career and education and everyday I feel blessed to live in a country full of opportunities.
The graduate career service offered to take professional pictures of the students around campus, which I had to take advantage of. This is only a few of the many pictures that were taken of me around campus. I think they turned out pretty good. I am using the one above as my LinkedIn profile picture. What do you guys think?
I love these kind of jeans. Mom jeans refers to the 80’s and 90’s with a high waist and loose fit. I love being able to move around as I like – and these jeans just make that possible. What do you think of the mom jeans?
Fancoise Hardy and Patti Smith are two sources of inspiration this season, two independent ladies whose personal style and aesthetics never fail to inspire me. A knitted, striped sweater paired with this season’s must-have denim from Filippa K is a great combination. Gucci’s iconic loafers will work with just about anything in your wardrobe and is a cool complement to this outfit or any outfit in general. Finish the look with a mini purse in cognac with gold details and cling a cling golden watch around your wrist.

Comfort is key when getting dressed in the morning. A navy blue turtleneck sweater combined with a pair of loose fit jeans and high heels is super chic and comfortable to wear. If you want to go all in on comfort, you just have to switch the heels for a pair of white sneakers.

I’ve been working on an online portfolio for the last couple of weeks. My boyfriend Frank took the pictures for my website – what do you think? (-: In the pictures I’m wearing a professional and chic outfit of black and white styles and simple gold jewelry.
There are many fashion outlets at the moment and last week I went to the Maria Black outlet. We stood in line for a long time, but it was all worth it. There was a lot of beautiful jewelry at very favorable prices! I bought these two rings, a pair of earrings, and a necklace with a small diamond in gold-plated silver. I especially love the necklace, which I’ve had my eyes on for a very long time.
Later Frank and I are going to eat burgers at a restaurant called Cocks & Cows. It’s suppose to be the best burger in town so I’m pretty exited (-: Have a great weekend girls!
It can be a challenge to find the perfect winter coat. My best advice is to go for a classic fit and choose a coat in either camel, navy, black, or grey. These colors can be used year after year. I own a black coat from Filippa K and a camel coat from H&M, so this year I’m looking for a grey coat and number 3 from Esprit is high on my list!
